Turbosmart Shortie Kompact Series valves have been specifically designed to suit BorgWarner EFR and KKK turbos. They also fit the popular Ford Ecoboost engines.
Unlike the standard, plastic valves that use un-reinforced diaphragms and are known to crack under increased boost,Β the new BW/KKK/Ecoboost Kompact valves use O-Ring sealed piston which, coupled with their billet aluminum construction give them over 30PSI boost handling capability.
Designed as a bolt-on replacement of the factory valve on all BorgWarner EFR, KKK and Ecoboost turbos, the Kompact Shortie Dual Port provides better boost response and greater boost handling capability. Increases intake sound, especially when used with an aftermarket intake kit.
Included with each Β Kompact Shortie kit is:
Model specific valve, Straight and Banjo Nipples, Mounting screws and Spring clamps.

Easy install just make sure to turn the wheel left for easier access. The blow off sounds amazing although it does tend to go off a lot during highway rides.
United StatesMy boost was dropping a few pounds between 4200-4900rpms. Stays all the way solid until I let up. The sound will get people next to you letting off at freeway speeds. It sounds fucken Badass!!

It happens to me twice blow off valve got stuck open I could not go past 80. Other than that it works really well

I love it. At first I was not sure about the air brake sound but it takes only a few miles to get rid of that! I feel the turbo spool up quicker and the response is great! No complaints besides not having the fancy tools to get back to the location. Little ingenuity fixed that for me and some patience.

When I ordered this bov for my focus it was the first mod I did to it. Let me tell you I have no regret. I have 3000kms on it and have no issue; sounds super nasty (in a good way) and I find the boosts hits even faster then before. I live in Canada and literally was at my door in less then a week so super job in that department.. I would for sure recommend getting this part and defiantly from fswerks. Turbosmart dual port BOV
Perfect upgrade to handle more boost than the stock BPV (omg that thing is horribly constructed). One of the first modifications I did to my car, but it wasn't venting to atmosphere, thought I broke something. Was in contact with Vic he told me to bring it in and they fixed it with no charge. Turbosmart ending up sending them the wrong Blow off Valve. Upgrading the stock BPV is a must if you plan on modifying the car and going Big Turbo. Thanks guys.
