LuK clutch slave cylinders have a long operating life and low friction characteristics thanks to the special design of the central seal with a plastic reinforcement and the special lubricants used.
Hydraulic concentric slave cylinders
Concentric slave cylinders are fitted within the bell housing where the hydraulic cylinder encloses the input shaft. They are easy to fit and automatically adjust the travel of the diaphragm spring during clutch wear. The housings are manufactured almost exclusively from plastic resistant to high temperatures and now only rarely from aluminum. The integrated design where the guide tube and housing are injection molded as one part is particularly robust. A travel sensor can be fitted on the side of the housing in hybrid vehicles and automated clutch actuation systems. The release bearing can be equipped with a thrust washer to reduce friction or a cardan joint to prevent judder caused by geometrical defects.
| Note: During assembly use silicone adhesive such as (Permatex Ultra Black Part#82180) or Ford equivalent on the backside mating surface of the slave cylinder where it meets the transmission. |

Had this installed for almost a year, works great, no noise. MAKE SURE you put a sealant around the part of this slave that mates to the transmission or you will leak transmission fluid!

Clutch release bearing on point
Have 50 miles on the new throw out bearing and have to admit compared to the other one I had the feel of this is great and no rattle noise or anything very satisfied and happy.
2006 clutch conversion
Parts were well packed and arrived in 3 days standard ground. Quality was vastly superior to parts store replacement. 2 things of note, dowels are not installed in flywheel so you'll need a press, make sure to RTV the throw out bearing to the trans case.
