HOW TO MEASURE

1. Gather Tools

To properly measure your wheel gap you will need a few simple tools:

  • Measuring device with millimeter units
  • Straight edge--Yard stick or similar

2. Check Your Gap

  1. Place a straight edge flush with the face of the wheel and tire combination. Make sure the straight edge touches the tire in two spots to keep the straight edge even with the tire.
  2. Use the measuring device to measure from the inside of the straight edge to the inner fender lip. (see diagram)
  3. Make sure that the measurement is taken at the point where the wheel and tire is closest to the fender. For instance, on a car with a large amount of negative camber the tire and wheel may be closest at the front or rear edge of the fender.
Installation

1. Check Parts

Make sure that you have the correct part numbers, accessories--bolts, nuts, studs--and that you have the required tools.

2. Remove Wheels

This step should be performed by a qualified auto mechanic in accordance to manufacturers guidelines. Follow TRAK+ installation instructions in Step 3. Repeat for each remaining wheel.

3. Installation Tips

Make sure to review the installation tips listed below for the TRAK+ Wheel Spacer series that you are having installed.

DRM Installation Tips
  1. Remove wheel.
  2. Place TRAK+ Wheel Spacer on hub of car making sure that the spacer is fully seated and flush with the hub.
  3. Use supplied nuts to fasten spacer to original studs. Carefully hand turn nuts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  4. Repeat step 3 with the remaining nuts.
  5. With hand wrench, snug up the nuts in a star pattern.
  6. Tighten nuts in a star pattern using torque wrench set to manufacturers specification.
  7. Make sure original studs do not protrude past spacer, see note 8.
  8. Place wheel onto the new studs and firmly seat against wheel spacer.
  9. Fasten wheel with original nuts. Carefully hand turn nuts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  10. Repeat step 9 with the remaining nuts.
  11. With hand wrench, snug up the nuts in a star pattern.
  12. Before fully tightening, spin the wheel and tire to check for any noise or interference.
  13. Tighten the wheel nuts in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to wheel manufacturers specifications.

H&R TRAK+ DRM Wheel Spacers - 5x108 - 25mm

These went on the rear axle of a 2015 ford focus sedan. Painless to install, perfect fit. The only drawback i observed are the original wheel studs poking into the back side of the wheel. However it is only about 1 mm worth of it pushing into the wheel so hopefully it doesn't cause major damage. Wheels poke just enough to be slightly more than flush with the fender, and paired with lowering springs/shocks it looks like a mean son of a gun.

Great stance improvement!

I have these on my 2013 Focus SE (20mm in front and 25mm in back.) I really didn't like the look of my stock rims set deep in the fender wells and with these on they look way better; it really completely changes the look of the car, even more than lowering springs. They are very easy to install, the quality is very good, and they are the safest wheel spacer you can buy because they extend the hub so that your wheel can't tell the difference.
